Port issue

Hi ,

I need an assistance on this error message. Can somebody tell me what was the cause for this error message on this particular port.

elmoandsam,

sound not good. Hardware Error.

For exact details, log into the switch as admin trugh CLI, with the command "errshow" ........ get a output of all error are caused by the switch.

Hi

Thank you for the respond, yes I have look into the error report using web base and I realize something wrong with SFP cable so I replace the cable, before I replace the cable, I disabled the problematic port. Once the port been disable I plug in new SFP to SFP cable and enable the port back to normal position. Surprisingly everything went smooth. Now the switch port 20 no issue. I think the cause of this error on the port is due to the SFP cable, correct if I'm wrong. Thank god now everything works fine. Thank you.
