Full fabric license not working...

I have a full fabric license installed but when I connect it to another switch it tells me, "E-Port segmented,(No Fabric License)"

If you examine the attached text file that contains the output of the SUPPORTSHOW command, you'll see conflicting information. Under the _licenseshow _section you can see the fabric license but under the _fabswitchshow _section it shows, "fabric license: FALSE"

I doublechecked to make sure it was a Full Fabric license and I checked to make sure the ports were configured to enable E-Ports. Any ideas what's wrong with this switch?

Re: Full fabric license not working...

They are both 16-port Brocade switches with 5.2.1a firmware on one switch (BrocadeD) and 5.1.0b firmware on the other (BrocadeA).

BrocadeA is set to domain ID 10 and Brocade D is set to domain ID 13.

BrocadeD is the new switch I'm adding and I've deleted all the zoning on the switch.

I checked the configuration of the port I want to ISL on both switches (port 2) and they both have E-Ports enabled.

The problem seems to be with BrocadeA. As I stated in the original post, it shows the fabric license I installed in the output from the licenseshow command...

brocadeA:admin> licenseshow
Web license
Zoning license
Ports on Demand license - additional 4 port upgrade
Ports on Demand license - additional 4 port upgrade
* Fabric license*

The cbRRQdcyddcSSRv license code is a, "Full Fabric Upgrade for Small/Medium Silkworm Switches"

But it doesn't show the fabric license in the output from the fabswitchshow command...
