Web Tools Timeout?

I would like to run the performance view of Web Tools overnight so I can get some data on our tape environment. It appears that Web Tools will time out after about two hours. So far I have not been able to find a setting to change this. Can this be changed so that Web Tools doesn't time out, or at least doesn't time out after a very long time?

Re: Web Tools Timeout?

Executing the 'configshow' command in a telnet/ssh session you will see the setting "webtools.session.ttl". This parameter has a value of 7200 by default. I suppose this means 7200 seconds (2 hours). I don't know how you can change this value nut you can try to do this using the 'configure' CLI command.

Re: Web Tools Timeout?

Where has this setting gone in FOS 6.4?  I tried to grep for the command unsuccessfully.

Re: Web Tools Timeout?

The configure command is still there in FOS 6.4

You can can the Webtools timeout if you change the Webtools settings.

if you run the configure command you will get some entries like this:

Fabric parameters (yes, y, no, n):

Portlog events enable (yes, y, no, n):

ssl attributes (yes, y, no, n):
rpcd attributes (yes, y, no, n):

webtools attributes (yes, y, no, n): y

You can change the  "Login Session Timeout (in seconds)" to extend the timeout value.

I hope this helps,
