fl_tenancy & nl_tenancy

Portstatsshow has these 2 output

fl_tenancy  number of times FL has the tenancy
nl_tenancy  number of times NL has the tenancy

but I am not able to find a good description as to what it means. Can comeone explain what it is ?

I am seeing a very large value on these when attached device is a loop device (tape)

Re: fl_tenancy & nl_tenancy

This counter is deprecated in FC-SW and only applies to FC-AL configurations.

When a FC-AL device has the tenancy, it means that it has the control of the loop so that it can communicate with another device in the loop. So I would consider a normal behavior to see those counters increase when devs are configured in a FC-AL.
