fabric.ops.dataFieldSize size

Noticed this field is set to 2112. Is this the actual packet size used by the switch. If it is should it be FCP size 2048? If I can not change it should I set my devices to 2112 as well?

Re: fabric.ops.dataFieldSize size

2112 bytes is the maximum data field size for FC frames as defined by standards. the fabric.ops.dataFieldSize defines what the max should be for this particular fabric. FC devices in the fabric are permitted to use smaller frames if desired/required. for performance reasons, it is better to leave this at default value unless there are specific reasons to modify.
