Fabric Watch stopped emailing after upgrade to 5.3.1a

I had email working on our 48k switches and we upgraded from 5.2.1a to 5.3.1a and now I don't get any emails. The way I got it working before was to edit the /etc/mail/ file and add our mailhost to the "Smart relay host" entry. Of course I had to go in and do this again after the upgrade, but it's not working this time.

I also have a valid MX record in the DNS that it is pointed to.

What am I missing? Could I possibly have a corrupt sendmail binary?

Here is what I have:
