Hello there.
I got the optic fiber cable but I don`t know how to find out its characteristics. I cant identify this cable because there is no part number or something. Can someone help me with this problem?
Inscription on the paper label (that attached to cable):
AMPHENOL
038-003-739 REV A01
5.0 M
MADE IN CHINA
19612-5210-2700
Inscription on the cable itself:
AMPHENOL FIBER OPTIC PRODUCTS 330-620-2C7-08 50/125 10GIG300 08/10 ROHS COMPLIANT E120857 FT-6 CCULJUS OFNP SERIAL NUMBER A019036 04588 FT
I tried to google "amphenol 50/125 10GIG", "amphenol 038-003-739 REV A01", "amphenol E120857", but couldn`t find any info about this cable.

Thank you for your answer.
Can you tell me how did you decognize this cable? Are there any tables or whitepapers or anything else? E.g. there is document "Switch Types, Blade IDs, and Product Names" to determine Brocade switch model. May be such document exists for fiber cables too?

sure.
-->> 50/125= micron fiber measurement
-->> 10GIG300 = support 10GB/s ; 300 meter certified
-->> 08/10 = productions year
this is a most standard cable work at 2000MHz
you can use the cable:
at 2 GB/s speed = 500 Meter
at 4 GB/s speed = 380 Meter
at 8 GB/s speed = 150 Meter
at 10 GB/s speed = 300 Meter
-->> E.g. there is document "Switch Types, Blade IDs, and Product Names" to determine Brocade switch model.
such a list is not available and have nothing to do with switch type or blade ID, cable are determinated by speed and distance.
