Re: Upgraded 4024 firmware from v5.3.0a to v6.1.0g and now get message

Josh

you wrote in the latest reply follow

In the release notes it says that SW_RSCNs for RSCNs generated by attached nodes are not being handled in McDATA Mode this is fixed in 6.2.0a.

Sorry my ignorance but i cannot find in the RN 6.2.0a what you wrote here.

However is this error is know by any old FOS release and this is fixed in 6.2.0a like as you wrote here and you get a RSCN error so i must assume

you have a wrong config or you have a defective parts

Again i cannot find in the RN 620a this fixed or closed defect

I'm beginning to think that upgradeing to 6.2.0a will solve the problem.  Do you think so also?

Josh

yes i think same but this defect close the RSCN and i am not sure if your CRC error is caused by this RSCN Closed Defect or better to say i have my doubt that you solve the CRC Problem with this upgrade.
