Maximum number of switches in a fabric?

I have a question in regards to the maximum number of switches allowed in a fabric.  Our current setup is a Brocade 48000 as the core director switch with Brocade 200E, 4900 and 5100 edge switches connected to it (all using FOS 6.3.1a).  The specs for the 48000 and 5100 state "full fabric architecture of 239 switches maximum" but it also states " Single Brocade FOS fabric: 56 domains, 19 hops, 6000 ports".  If each switch has a unique domain number, does this limit the number of switches to 56? Or is the limit 239 switches?

I couldn't find the specs for the Brocade 200E and 4900.  Does anyone know if they have the same limitations?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Re: Maximum number of switches in a fabric?

Switch / Port Limit per Fabric are

2560 Port and/or 239 Switches

simple e.g

64x Brocade 5100 = Total of 2560 Port,

2x Full Loaded 48000 with 8x 48 Port Blade = 768 Port +

40x Brocade 4100 = 1280 Port +

8x Brocade 4900 = 512 Port

Your have a Total of 2560 Port by 48 Switches.
