One of my 14 bladecenters has a switch reporting flash as marginal. I logged in as root, and have found files /var/panicdump and /var/tracedump.dmp. The first is dated April 9, and is 1/2MB, and the second is dated April 23, and is 1MB. A df command shows the / filesystem at 85%.
Can I delete either or both of these files?
Is there something I should do with them, like send them to support for diagnosis?
thanks in advance,

Your can move the file with the command supportftp / supportsave
for exact details, refer the Command Reference Manuals.
Your cand send the file for Diag to Brocade only with a Active Maintenance Contracts.

I did a supportsave, and the flash status went from marginal to healthy. I went back in as root, and now there is a new tracedump.dmp file in /var.
Do I use fabricwatch to alert me when one of these events occurs that triggers a change from healthy to marginal?
We have a support contract, but I am unsure if it covers only our 48000 directors, or if it also covers our bladecenter switches.
thanks for your response,

-----I went back in as root, and now there is a new tracedump.dmp file in /var.
Probable but not sure, this error is caused from a Hardware defect.
see with the command errorshow, if the switch have some hardware error.
