  • 1.  Whenever I am trying to open VM in VMRC console, A general system error occurred: Invalid fault

    Hi Experts,

    Whenever I am trying to open any VM in VMRC (VMware Remote Console) console in particular vCenter. I am getting "Connection Error" inside the VM. When I am checking the recent task, I am getting the error follows : "A general system error occurred: Invalid fault". But  I am able to launch web console without any issue. 

    In my preference I have changed from web console to VMRC, but still I am not able to launch VMRC. From last 4 days VMRC is not working. Below the required information. 

    vCenter version: 7.0.3
    Build: 22357613
    VMRC version: 12.0.5

    Hello Navin,

    Thanks for your response.

    I just logged in the vCenter via putty as root user and check the path which was mentioned in the link you have shared me. I am not able to see any files. Below the result.

    These files are not on the vCenter. They would be present on your Windows Machine. I mean you laptop or desktop

    Oh is it.

    Could you please let me know where I have to check it ? In my windows machine.

    I am not able to find those paths in C drive

    Just open Run (Win+R) and type the URL "%TEMP%\vmware-%USERNAME%\"
    Do the same for the other 3 locations
