The only way you can restrict users from entering time on weekends is to define your time reporting periods to include only weekdays (===== a terrible pain)
There is no way in the GUI to restrict the number of hours per day entered. In some migrations I've seen all the hours in a month beeing entered for one day.

The work around is to have a process which checks the submitted hours and if they do not meet the spec to return.
    Check the conditional approval process.

    hi M.

thanks but i dont understand "The only way you can restrict users from entering time on weekends is to define your time reporting periods to include only weekdays (===== a terrible pain)"

thank you because what I am thiniking is to create calendar without those days but there is no template ( just standard) who has those weekend days inside but it is not possible to use them in timesheet with using non[working-days,

    thank you

If you create time reporting periods that do not include weekends the users can only enter time on weekdays.
Whether a day is a workday or non-workday makes no difference when entering time. The users can enter time on nonworkdays.

Use the WEEKLY setting. Set the "Start Date" to the Monday, the "Finish date" to the (next) Friday - Save.

Repeat the above for EVERY week, one by one.

define your time reporting periods to include only weekdays (===== a terrible pain)
and that is in the easy situation where you allow the time reporting periods go over the months end ie include days from two months.

The way it works is when you set the dates it will create as many complete periods of that type as the time range allows and then the remainder will be less than a full period.
If there is not enough time for a full period then ti will only one which contains the whole range.

P.S. At times like that I certainly wish I could XOG in the time reporting periods.
