  • 1.  Timesheet Submitted Notification mail

    Hi,

    I've got a problem with auto notification email.

    One of the resource's Resource Manager has been recently changed,I've changed resource Manager and the OBS structure too. But the old Resource Manager still receives the email stating that

    Timesheet submitted for resource:X Time period starting: 8/5/11

    To view the timesheet, click on:
    http://clarity/niku/app?action=timeadmin.editTimesheet&id=5
    082497&redirectAction=timeadmin.editTimesheet


    Is there any way to find how this auto notification generates? Is there a step I forgot to check while changing the Resource Manager

    Is it something to do with the "old" resource manager still having time approve rights over the resource?

    What Dave said. I would check if there are any "TimeSheet - Approve" rights that the old manager still have on the OBS, Instance or Global Levels regarding the X resource.

    I've checked on each level on the Old Manager ,he doesn't have "Timesheet- Approve" Rights on the Resource X

    Dave,

    I checked the resource's "Access to Resource". I could find "Old" Res Mgr with no rights to approve Time sheet in Full View . Also on the "Old" Manager side, I could not find any relation with this resource which may trigger a Timesheet auto notification mail

    Just as a comment; "Full View" does not pick up global rights so if your "old" RM has some Global rights (either individually OR through a system group OR through an OBS that the RM belongs to) then they will not show up in "Full View"

    Otherwise I'm out of ideas.

    I've checked with Old RM, did he receive any more notifications when teh resource submitted the timesheet for the later week. The old RM didn't receive any. So for now it helped.... need to check
