You should be able to use the Windows Control Panel to add/remove programs.

The Windows Add/Remove programs should work. If that is not then you should open a support case so that it can be reviewed further.

Am just wondering before we install CA provision server do we need to install identity manager (ca-im)?

The Provisioning Server component requires that CA Directory first be installed and the Provisioning Repository installed on top of it before the Provisioning Server installation. The Identity Manager Server component is separate. The Provisioning Server installer and the Identity Manager Server installer are independent of each other. The installation portion of the product documentation can be found in docops

    Hi,

IM and Provisioning server are independent to each other. You do not have to install IM to have Provisioning server installed.

The installers for those two components are independent to each other.

You could have an IM Server running with an IME that does not have a Provisioning Server if there is no need to manage endpoint accounts.

The Provisioning Server used to be a stand alone product called CA Admin prior to it becoming a component of Identity Manager, but having a Provisioning Server without an IM Server however is no longer how the solution is designed and there are times where you must use the IM User Console to gain access to things.
