  • 1.  Using NRI with Windows 10 iot Enterprise ?

I want to get the inventory data from a thin client where Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2015 LTSB (OEM) is installed.

Inventory is running fine and reports the expected data, but the object is "unclassified" in DSM explorer.

The xiu file has <class_id>0 and

    C003901[$40GeneralInventory$|$Operating System$|$Installation$]
    C00010500Version|10.0
    C00020201Major Version|10
    C00030201Minor Version|0
    C00040500Service Pack|
    C00050201Build Number|10240
    C00060500Vendor|Microsoft Corporation
    ...
    C000A0500InstallationType|Client
    C000B0500ProductName|Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB

Is there a way to get the system classified ?

OSConfig.xml has to be added to the default *.wlscr files if you are not using enu.

If you are using a USB stick for NRI: be sure that the OSConfig.xml is available in the current directory (might be different than "bin" if you are not using the default bat file).
