Yes, here is an example.. the Manager column with numbers instead of named Managers have resources that are no longer with the company and are in an Inactive status on their resource record.

My response to my PMO managers who brought this to my attention was .. if the resource is no longer here you as PMO mgr should replace them with an active Manager but for reporting purposes they are requesting to not show any numbers and always show the name regardless of their status.

So I just need to know if this is by design and cannot be changed or if as PPM admin is there something I can do to prevent.

    Thank you so much!

    Chic

    Hi ChicSpillers4450904

Yes, there was a defect reported on releases pre 13.2. Please note that portfolios were completely rewritten in 13.2 thus this defect is no longer applicable. I would suggest that you upgrade to later release.

FYI - here are the defect details:

CLRT-72473 The Manager attribute in the Investments portlet for the Portfolio Defauly Layout -> Scorecard tab, displays a numeric ID instead of the manager's name, if the manager is Inactive.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1. Build a portfolio; ensure that the Page Layout is the Porfolio Default Layout.
    2. Add some financially-enabled investments to it.
    3. Go to the Scorecards tab.
    4. Go to the Investments portlet.
    5. Click on Action -> Configure, and add the column Manager to the list layout. Save and Exit.
    6. Check that the manager names appear in the newly-added column.
    7. Pick any one manager, for example the manager of the first project in the list that appears in the Investments portlet.
    8. Go to Administration -> Resources -> [select the manager].
    9. Set the Status field for this resource to Inactive. Save.
    10. Go back to the same portfolio -> Scorecards tab, and check the Manager's column.

    Expected Result:

The manager's name to still be displayed.

    Actual Result:

The manager's name is replaced by a numeric ID.

    Regards
