Hi,           We are currently using Clarity 7.5.2 FP02 in Sun solaris. Now we are planning to  Install clarity  7.5.2  FP02  & oracle  database  In Redhat Linux. Actuate is not supported in Linux. So we are Planning to install Actuate Reporting Server in Windows Machine. We want to control the actuate service from workwise application box which we are planning to install in linux. Is possible to control the actuate services from Linux System and any custom script is used to control the actuate service from Linux Machine. Is anybody handling the same issue.    Senthil

Just curious: what do you mean with control actuate services from Linux? Is there a problem havaing them start automatically when Windows boots and leaving them on their own after that?  Martti K.

If having them start automatically when Windows boots and leaving them on their own after that is   a problem and you cannot access your Windows box from Linux you could try some remote access software like TightVNC if that is allowed on your system. That would give you access to the windows command line to issue the niku reports srart/stop/status  Is that getting any closer?  Martti K.
