Good day! Does anyone have a working example of how you have created Knowledge Tree documents. Particularly, how do you:

    • Use queres and conclusions
    • Have multiple steps for troublshooting
    • Have you linked to other knowledge articles?

    Thank you very much!

Hello CA Service Management Community Members,

Does your Service Desk Manager site use Knoweldge Documents?

If so, you may be able to add a few pointers to dogden here.

    Thanks, Kyle_R.

Attached is a simple Knowledge Tree Document example.

It should provide you with the necessary information to get started creating Knowledge Tree Documents.

    HI ,

You may Keep these steps handy.. Apart from those which was been discussed.

    Excerpt from online document:

    ----------------------------------------------

Create a New Knowledge Tree Document

You can create a knowledge tree document by accessing the Tree Designer.

To create a knowledge tree document

Right-click the category or subcategory in which to add the new document in the Category pane, then select Create Knowledge Tree Document from the shortcut menu.

Note: You cannot create a document directly under the TOP category. If necessary, add a new category in which to create the document.

The Create New Document window opens.

Complete the fields on the Content tab as appropriate.

    Click Design Tree.

    The Tree Designer opens.

Nope, not really. I am looking for an example of a knowledge tree article. I know how to create one, but I want to see an example of how someone else has successfully used it.

Great thread resurrection!  It's lucky that we don't have a formal "thread necromancy" policy here in in the SDM forum!

Please respond promptly to any updates.

    Hello SDM Community members,

Can someone post a few representative (data sanitised) examples of Knowledge Documents from your systems?

Possibly along with some discussion of how you are using Knowledge Documents, and with what complexity.

    Thanks, Kyle_R.
