Hello,

I've just installed a Windows BareMetal server ( Windows Server 2019 - 1809 - OS Build 17763.3650 ) and tried to add to the NSX. Everything went okay, until in the NSX I got the following error: Node has invalid version 4.1.2.3.0.23382415 of software nsx-sfhc.

Before the error the BM host and other VMs which were attached to a T1 GW was able to ping each other until I get the error message in NSX.

I've checked the NSX logs on the BM server and the logs says the same error:

1 [comp="nsx-windows subcomp="nsxsfhc"] Software nsx-sfhc version: expect=4.1.2.3.0.23382415rhel76_x86_64_baremetal_container_dependency_list= actual=4.1.2.3.0.23382415
1 [comp="nsx-windows subcomp="nsxsfhc"] FindMissingSoftware execution time: 0.000000 seconds

Have anybody experienced this error before?

If so could you let me know what is the problem, or where can I start the investigation?

NSX Version 4.1.2.3.0.23382408

Thanks for your help!

Attila

Double-check the NSX version you’re using (4.1.2.3.0.23382408) and ensure that it is compatible with the BareMetal server's version. Sometimes, there can be specific dependencies or patches required for different versions. It might also help to reinstall the nsx-sfhc software on the BareMetal server, ensuring that it matches the version expected by the NSX manager.

Hello Bogdan,

In the meantime the problem has been solved. The solution was a registry modification in Windows to the expected value ( 4.1.2.3.0.23382415rhel76_x86_64_baremetal_container_dependency_list= )

I can not close the thread for some reason.

Thanks for the relpy!
