Hi

I am upgrading from Jasper Studio 7.9 to 9 on Windows 11.  I cannot install the Broadcom version of Studio as the server I eventually need to install it on does not have Internet access.  I am installing it from Tibo as per this link:  Jasper Studio 9.0 : Internet connection required (broadcom.com)

  1. Is the Java that comes bundled with Jasper Studio 9 Open Source and / or are there licences necessary for it?
  2. When I try to preview a HTML5 chart I get the error below.  Is it possible to use Edge or is Chrome required?
I have already done the Edge browser configuration as per this link: Using Edge in Jaspersoft Studio Window Builds - 9.0.0 - Jaspersoft Community

Assistance will be appreciated, thank you.

There is no additional Java licensing requirements for JasperStudio 9.0 that I am aware of.

In terms of the HTML5 chart issue, does the issue happen with Chrome?

If the issue is specific to Edge, we might need to check with Tibco support.  Provide your Broadcom site ID and we can open a Support Case on your behalf.

Hi Paul, thanks for your answer,

I installed Chrome on the pc and then the HTML5 chart preview worked.  However I do not want to install Chrome if I can avoid it as my company have transitioned to Edge.  My Broadcome Site ID is 671991.
