Disable or Non editable ETC and Allocation for an active role

Hello All,

How can we disable a role in Clarity so that no ETC or allocations are entered against this role in a project/task > assignment page?
We need the role to be active in the system so that users can view the already filled-in ETC/Allocations. We want to make it read-only.

I have tried to make task as completed/project financials as on-hold/closed so that no ETC/allocations can be booked for that particular role but seems to still editable.

A prompt response will really help. Thank you for sharing information.

Hello Priyanka,

Can you try to create a resource group for that role and then securing the required attributes in such a way that this newly created group has View Only access to those attributes. This way members of this group who belong to a specific role would not be able to edit the secured attribute.

Could you please share an example/step for "resource group for that role and then securing the required attributes in such a way that this newly created group has View Only access to those attributes".

We cannot create view only access because the changes are done by Project/Process managers, and they have multiple other accesses. Thank you for the response.
