We have Clarity 15.8.1 sp1 Microsoft project 2019 64bit

when I open project in MSP than duration of task is modified. For example from duration 3 days to 2,88 Not for every task.
WBS is currently without resources.

Loading pattern set to Uniform.

MSP: Install and Configure the Microsoft Project Interface
As an administrator, you can install and configure Microsoft Project (MSP) as a scheduling tool to integrate with . Install and configure Microsoft Project, the Microsoft Project interface, and the Schedule Connect software on each client workstation. After each installation, restart each computer. Changing the recommended settings and steps in this documentation can cause unexpected behavior.

on the screns you can see changes.

Anybody has idea?
We spent weeks of testing (reinstalations, setting changes) and have no idea what can be wrong.

The answer is easy. Just be sure to have name of default Calendar in Clarity with the same name of default Calendar in MSP. From that moment everything works properly including bank holydays and set free days in Clarity.

Are the daily hours in the project and resource calendars the same in Clarity and MSP? Eg 08:00 - 16:00

Thank you Martti,
As I mentioned there is no alocated resources for now.
But if I check Setting of Daily hours it seems to be the same (If I am checking the right setting in MSP).

MSP is in CZ language but
if I translate that its the same
Week start with Monday
Fiscal year start January
Default start 8:00 AM
Default finish 5:00 PM
Daily hours 8
Week hours 40
Monthly days 20

I was just wondering about the calendars. To me it seems that the difference is 0.12 days in your view regardless if the duration is 3, 7 or 18 days.

If the difference were one hour per day that would be 1/8 = 0.125 which is close, but not exact. What would be the difference if you had three decimals?
Then in Clarity the hours are clearly 4 + 4 = 8
In MSP I see something interesting from 8 to 17 it is 9 hours not 8.
So when the last day starts at 8 o'clock if there is no break in the middle 8 hours are completed at 16:00. That means that there is one hour missing from the full 8 hours in the Clarity calendar. Ie 0.125 days

Could there be something along those lines in this case?

Hello Martti,
you are right. It is in shifts.
When I changed Default shifts in Clarity to 9-18 it start to work properly.
Because standard MSP Calendar is set 9-18 doesn't matter what is shown on the screens where I can see correct 8-17 when its loaded into MSP it takes Standard 9-18.
So situation when Clarity is Set 9-18 it works. (Tested several times)

Another problems appears for us
1. Created task in Clarity still have time 8-17 Dont know why even default calendar shifts are set to 9-18
For this we have workaround that PM who wants to work with MSP will create task only in MSP

2nd. Problem is more difficult - We need to change work hours for resources from 8 to 7,5 and this makes a mess again.
Even We change setting in calendar in MSP to have the same shifts 9:00-12:30 14:00-18 (same as in clarity) there is still problem because when its loaded into MSP than is used Standard calendar with 8 hours and default shifts 9:00-13:00 14:00-18:00

I see your pain.

The way it goes is the real hours on a project are those which are available in the Clarity project (site) calendar and the resource calendar.

In your case the MSP calendar availability is one more thing. That is if there is just one calendar in MSP for resources and projects and as you say even more complicated if the Clarity calendars are ignored in MSP and the calendars in MSP cannot be modified and stored.
