XCHANGE Date Simulation in IDMS R19.0 under z/OS 2.4

Hi,

We are upgrading a client's mainframe to z/OS 2.4 with IDMS at R19.0.  The client was using the XPEDITER/XCHANGE software in IDMS R18 but now under z/OS 2.4 IDMS needs to run in protect key 4 and apparently XCHANGE does not support jobs that run in protect keys 0 to 7.  So we were wondering if anyone is running z/OS 2.4 or higher with IDMS R19 and using XCHANGE to change the CV regions date.  Although BMC does not recommended this configuration we would like to know if it's working for someone.

IBM reserves 0x0 through 0x7 for use within z/OS. 0x8 is the default. We use the remaining keys at Obj-Ex. 

I haven 4 used in the past without conflict but would not personally recommend it.

Thanks for the info.  I'm looking for someone who is using the XCHANGE date simulation software under z/OS 2.4 or later within an IDMS CV region.
