We have a request from a customer for a specific scenario regarding approving access requests and I wanted to ask for your opinion.
Basically, all users can request access for themselves and managers can either request access for themselves or for their employees.
Scenario 1: User Requests access for self
The user logs in the Identity Portal and chooses the roles he wants from the catalogue. We need an approval request to be sent to his manager and after that a second one to the application owners. For example, if he chooses two AD roles and 2 SAP roles the second stage approval must send an approval request to the AD admin for the two AD roles and another one to the SAP admin for the two SAP roles.
Scenario 2: Manager requests for self and for employee
If the manager requests access for self the flow is the same as scenario 1. If he requests for his employees, we just need the second part of the workflow (sending the approval requests to the application owners).
What do you think about the above processes ?
