.spl macro behavior and guide in CA SDM 17.4

Hello All,

We have CA SDM 17.4 where we are using classic change WFs.

Someone has already implemented in past that is Task 3 is put on HOLD, that TASK1 will go to Pending state again.Where as Task2 will stay Approved.

Now When TASK 1 is again Approved, TASK3 goes to Pending state.

THis scenario works for TASK1 and TASK3. However not working for TASK2 and TASK4.

Can anyone help me with .spl macro to do it? it will huge help. (or any reference doc on how to write it?

Also, In 17.4 Do we jus need to put .spl file only?  mod file or any compilation is needed or not?

Seems you only need to extend or duplicate your actual logic, please post your spl file content.
