Request/Response Latency

Hello everyone,

Right now we don't have many performance issues (good), but when they do crop up I've been asked if any of the logging within Clarity (other than turning on a trace) might provide some information on where the time is going. This is perceived as latency by the users.

Datadog is in use but the information we are looking for isn't readily available.

What kind of monitoring does anyone else use to measure response times?

Hi Paul - have you tried the Log Analysis portlets in Clarity? Those read the app-access logs from the database after you run the Tomcat Access Log Import/Analyze to import them in the db. Those will contain some of the response times and actions that you're looking for.
