Yes, Techdocs should be updated to include the Clarity UI (formerly known as MUX). The instructions are the same for the configuration of MSP and Clarity. The access is the only difference from Clarity.

Thanks... My confusion is because the page you reference starts with "As an administrator, you can install and configure Microsoft Project (MSP) as a scheduling tool to integrate with Classic PPM." [emphasis mine]. Perhaps the page should be updated to indicate that MSP integrates with MUX as well, and the instructions are the same?

For configuration and installation, you can find the instructions here: MSP: Install and Configure the Microsoft Project Interface. Then look at the left menu of techdocs there and you can find more information, and tips. You do not need to be concerned about the Legacy driver.

Thank you! And where would we find the documentation for the MUX integration, ideally including any tips on constraints, best practices?

Hi Tom,
You need to download and install the MSP Interface from the Classic UX > Home > Account Settings > Software Downloads. You need to download the version that matches your version of MS Project - Microsoft Project Interface (x86) for 32-bit version of MS Project, and Microsoft Project Interface (x64) for 64-bit version of MS Project.
Then install the interface, and open MS Project and it will prompt to run a macro, say "Yes" to install the Clarity AddIn for MS Project.
Then, you can open a project schedule from Clarity (Read-Write), make changes, and save back to Clarity.

Hello,
We're on 16.3.0, using the Modern UX. In the Action menu within Tasks, there appear "Microsoft Project Read-Only" and "Microsoft Project Read-Write", but these only seem to create a 1kb "Sched" file with some field values. Why are the actions available if they don't do anything useful?
All of the documentation for MSP integration on the techdocs site seems to be focused on integration from Classic. Where can we find the documentation for the MUX integration? Is there a way to upload changes from MSP back into a Clarity project's Tasks?
Thank you,
Tom.
