  • 1.  HTML Tags in Manual Notify Activity log

    Hello,

    After 17.4 RU2 patch was installed, email manual notifications show HTML tagging in the activity log. 

    When looking at the Notify in the Activities list of an Incident it gives TAGS
    When clicking on it, and looking at the specific activity it looks okay

    Is there a way to avoid the tagging when submitting the manual notify?

    I see a KB article HTML tags are added to the Manual Notify Activity log and emails after 17.4 RU2 was applied, in which it says Product defect and will be fixed in 17.4.03. 

    Could you help me with the resolution steps if it fixed in 17.4.3? or how to avoid the HTML tags in activities log list of an incident?

    There are many changes to enhance the usage of the HTML description field, you will not be able to just apply the steps on top of an older release. You have to follow the RU3 install process and your issue should be fixed. If you encounter a scenario that is not handled, feel free to open a support ticket and we'll be more than happy to assist further.
