Can you reset the initial view memory for a user? The problem is that a user has created a query / combination of filters and views that makes the application unresponsive. Every time the user navigates into this object again, this query comes up as default and the application does not respond. Other objects work as normal, and it is only this user who has problems. Grateful for any input that can resolve the situation

Which version are you on? At least from 16.2.3 version on, there is a central admin area, where you can administer all saved views: ModernUX -> Administration -> Views. An admin should be able to delete said view, even if its not shared. But only, if the view was saved. If its in a temporary state (=formatted in italic), it may get tricky: In newer versions there is a system wide option, to delete "temporary views" on logout. But Im not sure where that option is.

Other than that: What happens, if the user waits "long enough"?

Thank you so much for your quick response. We are on version 16.3.1.1473.

The view was not saved and quite early showed Error message: This page does not respond - Choices: Wait/Terminate. When clicking "Wait" e few times it seems tha page manages to load the grid and a few details on the side-panel-view-options, but terminates again after 5 minutes with a ned Error message: There is a problem with this page, try come back later...

Your tip about the system option "Delete temporarie views" was true gold and solved the issue. Thank you very much.

    Kind regards Solveig

If I recall it correctly the way to solve that was to copy the URL of the configure page for that view from another workstation and user to go directly there. Then you could remove the problem filter or any other problem in the configuration.

    Hi,

Depending on the version you are on, we do offer the ability to delete all unsaved views when people log out (version 16.3.2, I think)  You can enable this setting, have the user log in with a view that works, then have them log out.
