Hola Fellow Clarity Users,

 

I just wanted to take a minute to tell you about gelscripting.com

This is a website I have been working on slowly for a while now.

I created it for my personal use, and decided to share it with the community. 

 

Features of the website:

• Easily Create Gel Scripts!
• Lookup Table Joins
• Get XOG Templates
• Clean Portlet Write Xogs
• A Few Snippets of sql(adding more slowly)
• And More!

 

Everything on there I use on an almost daily basis. I always forget some random join, or need to put together a gel script.

Take a second, check it out, and see if you find it useful.  Maybe you will find it useful like the ~250-300 other users do each month.  If not, I'm sorry for wasting your time.  Either way, keep on being awesome!

Not sure how I found the site originally but I've been using it for awhile now, never knew who made it though, lol. Hadn't needed it in awhile, its gotten a bit of a visual refresh since I was last there. Keep up the good work!

May I ask what happened to the original website gelscripting.com? It now redirects me to a page with a Microsoft Visual Studio Code extension.

Your tool was incredibly helpful to me and many others. Is there any way to access the original content? I'd really appreciate any information you can share.

Hi Jan,

as the application evolved, we found gelscripting.com samples required a refresh to include more gel script samples, rest api and other helpful items. Rego Consulting decided to incorporate all that functionality in a VSCode extension as it is what developers commonly use to edit scripts. I recommend you give the VSCode extension a try.
