forced recording of remote control sessions via Policy

  • 1.  forced recording of remote control sessions via Policy

    Hi community,

    I am experiencing strange  behaviour.
CA Client Automation 14.5 CU7 is applied on Domain manager and client computer

I enabled DSM group policy in which I  set  rule to override local  RC policies and  record all sessions.
I  declared path both in Recording  part of policy and  in  Viewer part of policy.

I tested with local path, with network path, same result.

Whenever I  try to connect to  that  computer  with remote control, I get message:
    Can't start recording:
The host has been configured for mandatory recording of all its sessions on the viewer, but location for the recordings has not been specified.
The remote control session will therefore be closed.

So anyone have idea what might  causing this? or I just found another bug :)

    regards,

    Mladen

    Hi Mladen,

You must also apply this configuration setting on the system running the RC Viewer.

    Rgds,

    Steve
