  • 1.  ESP WEb UI does not seem to have a way to issue List Appl (LA) command.

    We run a lot of SAP jobs, and when they fail, sometimes the only clue is in the LA output.

    I appreciate that we can use LMI to do the LAP command, but it requires some effort to caputure the Appln name and Gen number. It would be very helpful to add a List Application command as an optional like List Job History (LJS).

    Hi David,

    Thank you for the feedback.
    Adding LAP command next to LJS should be possible and we will surely consider it for future versions.  Another idea that we can explore is some help with LMI (for example providing last appl, jobname, gen or event that was selected in the table for easy copying into commands).

    Do you want LAP output because you are used to it's format, or there is information that can't be found elsewhere?
    In your case is it line:  BAPI_XBP_JOB_OPEN- JCoException: User is locked. Please notify the person responsible? Or something else/more?
