In-person gatherings in general suffered a major setback when Covid came about. This includes User Groups. There are still a number of challenges with in-person meetings, which we hope will be reduced further over time. Despite these challenges, there is no question about the value of getting like-minded people together to discuss the creative ways they solve their challenges and those challenges they are still trying to overcome. Although in-person meetings would still be preferred by many, a virtual gathering appears to be a great way to restart. In speaking with customers, we've received nothing but positive encouragement to resurrect these events.
Normally, User Groups would be led by someone besides the solution vendor (Broadcom). Ideas for discussions would be proposed, planned, and ultimately conducted by the community and the vendor as needed. We're not there yet. We have to start with baby steps.
At this time, we're looking to hold an inaugural meeting in the next few months. The initial meeting is expected to include 2-3 topics for a total time around 90-120 minutes.
- Please let us know you're interested in participating so you receive an invitation to attend. Your contact info will be kept confidential.
- Optionally, let us know if there are any discussion topics you would like us to lead or something you would like to lead.
We're excited to get something going again. Regardless whether you're new to the product or an expert, come to learn and come to share. We need your help to make this a success. An agenda will be sent out prior to the meeting once we've received your feedback.
