  • 1.  Error adding Linux endpoint - Server Add Failed: code 52

    Hi all,
    Need assistance on the following issue.

    IM version: 14.4.0 (Build 0618221)
    Endpoint to add: RHEL 9.0
    Error


    Found an article about the same error but it's about adding AD endpoint.

    I checked the connectors and endpoint supported by IM. It does not seem like RHEL 9.0 is listed.

    Is this error related to the endpoint not supported? Or is this due to some configuration issue?

    Hello Ain

    As per the platform support matrix, currently there is no certification for RHEL 9.0
    Red Hat Enterprise Linux (AS, ES) (v2)
    6.x, 7.x, 8.x
    The error seems to indicate a possible incompatibility with the SSH version on the Linux server, but since it is not certified, we cannot proceed investigating.

    We would suggest raising an Idea (AKA Enhancement Request) to request for this certification to take place in the upcoming Identity Manager releases.
    To submit an idea,

    1. Go to the Ideas section in our communities: https://community.broadcom.com/ideation/allideas
    2. Ensure no similar idea has already been submitted - if it has been, add your vote to it!
    3. Click Add to add a new idea - Select Symantec IGA Category for it
