I am curious if there is any way to configure an added URL attribute to stay in the same window/tab when the URL is clicked?  Currently, it opens a new window/tab when you click on the URL.

What version are you on? on 13.2 and later, you can use type "external link". Possibly you can append javascript.

Also there may be some ways to append javascript into a hyperlink using lookups.. I'll have a think about that one.

    For reference,

If this were on a portlet and using the URL redirect technique https://communities.ca.com/web/ca-clarity-global-user-community/message-board/-/message_boards/view_message/2290264

You can specify how to handle the link
