A client has expressed interest in using the new REORG utility function
which was provided on the SP4 tape. I currently have SP2 intalled so
the next obvious question that I've been asked is what kind of effort is
required to install the SP4 maint tape? For those of you who have done
it, is it essentially just a case of getting the tape and doing the
SMP/E RECEIVE and APPLY or are there other processes involved?

"Dave,
I recommend doing an SP4 BASE install into a new CSI. Doesn't take that long and there are some advantages to this which I won't go into here. Here's what I have as far as maint. to Reorg, still haven't managed to start testing much...

"Re: Reorg and SP4, consider a BASE install instead"
"I've already applied SP4 to all of my test regions, and am on the verge of
applying it to my production regions. I just did a normal maintenance
upgrade, not a base install. This was very straightforward and I did not
encounter any complications.
Therefore, I am very curious as to the advantages you mention of doing a
base install into a new CSI.

"If your at 16.0 SP2 or SP3 I Belive you can just apply the maintenance.
I downlloaded it from CA site andd install the maint. SP4 in 2 or 3 days
