  • 1.  Configuring Project Tiles in version 15.5.1

    Hello,

    Is there a way to prevent the Overall Status icon from appearing on the project tile in the new UI? I understand that this is an attribute of the Status Report subobject but we do not wish it to appear. Test example in the attached PDF.

    I do not see an option in the New UI where that could be configured.
    In Classig the API ID is read only, so it cannot be hidden there either.

    Hi,

     

    You can edit layout of project Tile by Blueprints.

    Go to Blueprints and Visual in new UI.  (Administration->Blueprints->Visual)

    You will see below screen and you will edit layout by drag and drop.

    I drag "DAYS REMAINING" icon to left box and PUBLISH.

     

    After that, DAYS REMAINING is not appeared.

     

    I test above in 15.4.1. I think it is same in 15.5.1.

    Are you saying Days Remaining is Overall Status and On Track is not the Overall Status?

    No.

    It is only sample for how to edit layout of project Tile in new UI.

    User can add / remove attributes from layout of project Tile.

    So how do you remove Overall Status?

    No, you are not able to configure whether or not the Overall Status displays on the tile. If there are no project status reports on the project, it will not show any Overall Status value.

    Hi Shoichi,

    We were able to configure the tile by amending the Visuals via the Blueprint so now we see Start Date, Days Remaining and the Finish Date but we cannot see how to remove the On Track icon in the green box. I know that there is an Overall Status attribute under the Status Report sub-object in Classic but I can't see how tinkering with that would have an impact. It might be something we have to tolerate but if anyone else has any ideas I'm all ears!

    If you read the other posts they say you can configure the visuals on the project tile, but remove the On Track icon in the green box.

    The correct answer is incorrect.
