  • 1.  Schema Publish Error

    When we added a new object through WSP and tried to publish on inactive background server it fails with the following result :

     

    PS C:\windows\system32> pdm_publish
    Pdm_publish - Implement DBMS schema changes from Web Screen Painter
    Verifying files output from Web Screen Painter...
    Verifying CA Service Desk Manager server is not running...

     

    Merging schema files...
    ../bop.mac (345) : syntax error on seeing sort in wsp_schema.sch  (292)
    Output suppressed due to error
    AHD04759:schmerge failed
    pdm_publish execution failed

    May I have any expert suggestion here? I never encountered this error.

    We are using 14.2 with Advanced Availability mode.

    Please check NX_ROOT\site\mods\majic\wsp.mods file to see if there are duplicate fields referenced in the file.

    Also look at line 292 in WSP_SCHEMA.SCH for clues.

    Arunava, can you show a couple of statements before and after line 292 of wsp_schema.sch file?

    Guys,

    Thanks for the insight. The error appearing from one of our partially publish zfield. We have removed the reference and pdm_publish is just working fine now.
