JCL To Compile For Batch Intertest Debugging Cobol Programs With M

Hi All, I've been trying to compile, for batch Intertest, a COBOL program with MQ in it. After searching on for parameters to add to enable MQ access I managed to get a clean compile but, unfortunately, once I'm in the debugging session and it gets to a MQ instruction, it does not recognize it.  Does anyone have working compile JCL for MQ.  My shop has CA Batch Intertest but it is not attached to a resource manager, e.g. Endevor, Changeman, etcso we have to do our compiles on our own.

Any assistance with this will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Luis,

There is no special requirement for Cobol MQ compile.

For Cobol compile and post processor for compile listing file require following options:

    IN25COB2 - CA InterTest™ and CA SymDump® - 10.0 - CA Technologies Documentation

I assume you are using CA InterTest Batch release 10 or above and batch link session to debug Cobol MQ program.

You stated as MQ instruction not recognize by CA InterTest Batch means you are getting some sort of abend?

Or you can't monitoring the MQ call?

In any case, please open support case to research further and resolve your problem.

    Regards,

    Yong Pak.
