  • 1.  Tomcat error HTTP Status 404

    When i start the services of SDM , it show the following error , Screenshot is attached...

     

    HTTP Status 404 - /CAisd/pdmweb.exe

    ype Status report

    message /CAisd/pdmweb.exe

    description The requested resource (/CAisd/pdmweb.exe) is not available.

    Apache Tomcat/5.5.27

    Hi Omair,

     

    Check if all required SDM daemon services are running ,check by running pdm_status on command prompt .

    Next, check the stdlogs (NX_ROOT/log)for any errors.

    Dear junaid

    I checked  all services are running and there no any kind of  error in stdlog file...

    Hi Omair,

     

    Can you please check for any error in the pdm_tomcat.log located in NX_ROOT/log?

     

    Please provide the details about the error if any.

    There is no any kind off error in stdlog file ....Kindly help me to solve this issue

    Actually I'm asking for the pdm_tomcat.log located in NX_ROOT/log, not the stdlog files.

    Is there any error in that log?

    This is my understanding:

    SDM tomcat is running , otherwise you wouldn't get an HTTP 404 error
    pdmweb.exe is a servlet which should be available in tomcat
    check if
    $NX_ROOT/bopcfg/www/CATALINA_BASE/webapps/CAisd Directory exists.
    if not your installation has failed somewhere
    if yes provide
    $NX_ROOT/bopcfg/www/CATALINA_BASE/webapps/CAisd/WEB-INF/web.xml

    Btw. what Version of SDM are you running?

    Which OS are you using for SDM Server?

    Additionaly:

    Are there any errors in

    $NX_ROOT/log/jsrvr.log

    and/or

    $NX_ROOT/log/pdm_tomcat.log
