  • 1.  Email Notification Failure from CA IDM

    Hi,

     

    We have Email policy where it will trigger the notification to the contractor's manager prior to expiration. We have configured Manager id attributes in the "Environments, EnvironmentName, Advanced Settings, Miscellaneous in the Management Console". We are referring this attribute in the "recipients" tab of Email policy.

     

    However this task is failing with error "VALIDATION error occurred while running flow. Throwing exception.
    com.ca.identitymanager.policyxpress.exceptions.PxValidationException: Missing parameter".

     

    Not sure what I am missing. Your help in this regard much appreciated. Thanks.

    Does this error only happen on the bulk task execution of the task that triggers the email, or does it happen as well when manually calling that task?

     

    I would check to see that the Bulk Task definition modifies ALL of the required parameters as mentioned in your original post.

     

    If this is not the issue, I would suggest that you open a support ticket for with us to investigate further.
