Hi Sergio
were you able to get past that agent install error ? The installation logs depending how the install was done will be in the following locations
If Deployment Wizard was used look in Window\temp
If you did a manual install then look in the %TEMP% directory for the user who ran the installation.
an example path would be C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Temp>
the main files to examine are
DSMSetup.log
TRC_Inst2_ITRM.log
TRC_INST_ITRM_#.log
TRC_DeployWrapper_ITRM.log
ITRMAgentSetup.log
SSAInstall.log
capki_install.log
ciPreCheckExe.log
It would be good to know if this is an upgrade or a new install and the method used to install as Lenny had asked.
Please also ensure that Windows 7 has Sp 1 applied as CA Client Automation does not support the base operating system. I would also try re downloading the install media from our site and then ftp the iso to that agent machine and
it would be a best practice to cleanup the install whatever it laid down . then clear out the %TEMP% directory and either mount the iso file directly on the agent system using an emulator or if you must extract the iso contents ONLY use winrar as we have seen other extracting software corrupt the image during the extraction process.
I hope this is helpful to you and if needed attach install files to the post or include them when you open a support case.
Thanks
Joe
