    Hello Everyone,

     

    I've just posted a comprehensive document on the CA Service Desk Manager "Auto-close" functionality here:

    Okay, it might not be everything that you wanted to know about Auto-close - but I hope it comes close! 

     

    Auto-close in a nutshell: Automate closure of tickets based on the number of hours they have been in a Resolved type Status. This document will be particularly useful for sites that span timezones.

    I've revised this document, and added two new small sections:

    • Timezone Setup and Daylight Savings Time
    • How to extract and read Auto-close entries from the Animator table
