Database server hostname and IP Change

Customer is providing us the Cluster Database alias name but they will move  the database into another server with change of hostname and ip address  but alias name will be the same. Is this will affect CA Service Desk 14.1 ,CA Bussiness Intelligence 4.1 , CA CMDB, CA Asset Portfolio Management

If each application is referencing the alias name, and not the name that is going to be changed, then there should be no impact aside from the possibility that an application restart maybe necessary is the applications experience too long of a delay in response from the database during the transition.

If it is Oracle, then check about the client connection(In SDM Server) after moving the DB.
