    I have been using NBI_PROJ_RES_RATES_AND_COSTS table for a while to get the rate for a resource. The rate matrix job will calculate the rates and populate in this table. It is very convinient. One thing I have noticed recently is that if the resource is made inactive, the rates would disappear. This is for a resource which has exceptions in the rate matrix.

    Has anyone noticed this? If that is how it works, what is the best source to get rate? I know WIP would be probably the best source but the rates in the past were not accurate and so cannot rely on WIP posting from past.

    Figured out the issue.

    Confirmed with CA Support today that this a bug in version 13.1 but fixed in 13.1 patch 7.

    Just wondering again....

    When would be using the rates for inactive resources?
    Isn't the Rate matrix extraction an SP in the database. If so, could it be copied and modified to calculate only for the resources and projects you need to a custom table from where you could pull them when you need?
