CA Catalyst Connectors (Oracle or HP Asset Manager)

Hi All,

I'm looking for two CA Catalyst connectors:
- Oracle database; or
- HP Asset Manager.

The ideia is the integration with one of this "tools" with CA CMDB.

Any ideas?

Hello Rocardo,

I checked around and found out the following:

CA has Catalyst Connectors available for both Oracle and HP applications.
For Oracle Enterprise Manager we offer support for 10g, 10.2.5, 11g & 12 C
For HP we offer support for HP Service Manager 9.3

At this time, these are the current offerings for Catalyst Connectors for these 3rd party applications.

For further information, or to obtain these connectors, please contact your CA Account Manager or call 1800-225-5224. CA recommends using our CA Services consultants to help in planning and implementing these connectors.

Hello Steven,

Regarding the Catalyst connector for Oracle Enterprise Manager: I've been reading the guide connector and this is for connecting directly to CA Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control 11g (or) CA Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 12c applications.
My intent is to connect directly to an Oracle database and sincronize the data with mdb (CA CMDB). I do not need to sincronize directly to an Oracle application but only with a Oracle database, regardless the application. Is this posible?

I'm sorry to state at this time there isn't a tested and certified integration between Oracle Enterprise Manager and Service Desk Manager via Catalyst. It might be possible for some integration to be completed if the Oracle Enterprise Manager were built based on the latest version of Catalyst, which is 3.2, but I'm not aware of any such version of the connector existing, and even if the version of the connector did exist it's still not something that has gone through standard certification.
