VMware Workstation does not support nested virtualization on this host. Module 'HV' power on failed.

Virtualized AMD-V/RVI is disabled for this ESX virtual machine. You will only be able to run 32-bit nested virtual machines. Failed to start the virtual machine.

I have activated VIRUZALTION IN BIOS

Disable Hyper-V In turn windows features on or off windows 11

OS system : windows 11 Entreprise

    CPU AMD Ryzen 7 4700U

    Ram :  32 Go

After that I use this command in powershell and reboot system:

    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

    but the same problem.

Also I changed Change number of CPU cores to 1.

    but the same problem.

disable Device Guard or Credential Guard.

    but the same problem.

I don't know what caused this problem, I want to create a study project and install vmware vsphere 7.

When Memory Integrity is turned on, VMware Workstation also uses the Hypervisor API causing nested virtualisation to be unsupported.

Go to Windows Security -> Device Security -> Core Isolation and make sure Memory Integrity is “Off”.

I have exactly the same issue and memory integrity is turned off. But Workstation still refuses to run the nested vsphere 7 VMs, which it does a few weeks ago without any problem,

You have a fellow VMware employee who have the same problem in this thread.

Maybe you could try your internal Slack channel as suggested.

YES!  This fixes my issue with running a VM and getting the error "amd-v-rvi is not supported on this platform"

This alone did not fix it: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off

After that did fixed it: Windows Security -> Device Security -> Core Isolation and make sure Memory Integrity is “Off”.

    Hi bro,

Error: VMware Workstation does not support nested virtualization on this host.

    Solution:

    Go to Control Panel.
    Click on "Programs and Features."
Select "Turn Windows features on or off."
Disable "Hyper-V" and "Virtual Machine Platform."

It´s works on Windows 10 Pro x64 currently.
