problem installing Vmwareworkstation

Congratulations There was a problem installing Vmwareworkstation. Namely, it does not find the VmwareWorkstation.msi file during installation.
I have already tried many things as I don't want to reset windows to factory settings.

I tried to attach screenshots of the installation step where the problem occurs, but I'm not sure if it worked because the attachments don't show up

Existing version of workstation? It was installed a long time ago, but was removed due to some problems. Moreover, I did not install it anymore.

A new version of the workstation? VMware-workstation-full-17.5.0-22583795

Are you logged in as an administrator? Yes

Have you tried uninstalling the existing version and installing the new one? Currently not installed.

More than one of the screenshots talk about an old version and your installation being an upgrade, I suggest looking for old files, folders, registry keys, and devices.

when removing, I used the "Uninstall Tool" program. After deletion, nothing is displayed when searching on the computer

I understand that to begin with, you need to completely remove the previous version of the program. What should be done for this?

when searching through the command line, I was able to see the name of the downloaded program. I also found a command to delete it, will this method work?

I searched a bit and found drivers, etc. But I doubt what can be deleted and what should be left.

 

 

I also came across uninstall programs, by type "VMware_Install_Cleaner.zip". Wanted to know what you know about it?
