Under administration --> Project management --> we have "Migrate methods" What does this mean?

When I searched in Docs, I got "Clarity Authentication Methods", but this is not correct result. Please advise.

Those methods are Author methods for creating new project plans with author. Author was the successor of Planner in Niku 5. Author was in Niku 6. Author is no longer supplied, but when it was migrate was the way to move the methods. For a while the migration was used after upgrades of systems where Author had been installed.

Neither have I and neither have I used Planner nor Author. Only had the internal basic training for those when working for a distributor.
