  • 1.  How to run Solidworks or NX on Fusion 13.5 on Mac with M2.

    I know that this is possible on Parallels but have been wondering if it is possible on VMWare Fusion 13.5. I've tried on Windows 11 but NX gave my baner that my CPU doesn't support accelerated graphic and Solidworks would just crash after opening any file. From what I saw Parallels has better drivers which are able to support such software but is there a way to achieve this on Fusion?

    I have MacBook Air M2 16 Ram, I don't know if this is relevant but im running Windows 11 on external SSD Drive.

    If they require OpenGL, they may not run on Windows 11 ARM under Fusion. VMware’s 3D acceleration on Windows ARM is DX11 only.

    In Solidworks Hardware OpenGL can be switched for software OpenGL https://support.plmgroup.eu/hc/en-us/articles/7184505224221-How-to-run-SOLIDWORKS-Composer-without-graphics-hardware-acceleration-

    I don't know if that will work but will try.
